CARLSBAD ---- ViaSat Inc. said Monday that it has received a $12 million order for a flight and avionics simulator from Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Corp.

The "RF stimulation" simulator includes radio transmissions, jamming and background signals such those received in actual flight, ViaSat said.

The product is to be used for testing with the F-35 Lighting II aircraft, known as the Joint Strike Fighter. It is scheduled for delivery in 2010.
